The SZMID UAD-EOC-TS is a cutting-edge infrared thermographic photonics system designed for high-precision target detection, identification, and tracking. It features a dynamic combination of a precision tracking turntable and an advanced electro-optical cabin, housing an uncooled infrared focal plane detector, a high-definition visible light camera, and an intelligent image processing board. This synergy of sensors enables seamless, multi-mode sensor fusion that excels in diverse environmental conditions, ensuring reliable and efficient performance.

The UAD-EOC-TS begins its operation by receiving target position data from an external search system. The electro-optical tracking system then performs an initial alignment, followed by a detailed target search around the aligned area. During this search, automatic recognition technologies or manual operator inputs can confirm suspicious targets. Once a target is verified, the system shifts into automatic tracking mode, allowing real-time synchronization between the optical axis of the electro-optical sensor and the radio frequency interference antenna mounted on the tracking turntable. This enables accurate, continuous tracking of moving targets, regardless of speed or direction.

One of the standout features of the UAD-EOC-TS is its intelligent target recognition system. The onboard image processing board supports advanced algorithms, enabling quick and accurate identification, even in complex environments with multiple distractions. This is complemented by the high-precision tracking system, which uses rapid-response controls to ensure targets remain in focus, even when they are moving at high speeds.

In field tests, the UAD-EOC-TS demonstrated impressive interception capabilities. When equipped with a cooled infrared imager, it can detect and track micro drones (such as the DJI Genie3) at distances of over 3.5 km, and small drones (like the DJI S900) at ranges exceeding 6 km. With a non-cooled infrared imager, detection ranges are still substantial, at over 1.5 km for micro drones and more than 3 km for small drones. The system's response time is under 1 second, with an interception probability greater than 95% and a tracking accuracy of within 2 pixels, ensuring reliable, pinpoint accuracy in dynamic scenarios.
